My primary studio is a home studio in Paso Robles, California. I also have a studio in San Diego in the Gaslamp District and and indoor/outdoor studio in Bradley California. My studios are set up for the perfect lighting and space needs for your boudoir shoot. However, we can always pick a different location for your shoot if you have something specific in mind.
INVESTMENT & PAYMENT
Boudoir shoots start at $500 although most clients invest another $200-$500 in prints and albums. The base investment covers the shoot and the in person ordering session where you choose fifteen images to receive as high-res digital copies. You are also able to purchase any additional images or products. Payments can be made in cash, check, or credit card.
During your shoot your privacy and comfort is of utmost importance. For this reason hair and makeup is always done by a female artist, and I don't have any assistants or additional people in the studio during your shoot. All shoots and editing of all images is done by myself. The only images I share on any social media or in person to future prospective clients are with express permission from clients.
HAIR AND MAKEUP
Being pampered before your session goes a long way to feeling your best for your shoot. I work primarily with Bellizzimo Beauty (when on the Central Coast) who are skilled in knowing how to apply makeup for the camera. Having that hour to unwind and be pampered is also just a fun part of the experience!
I am located in San Luis Obispo county, specifically in Paso Robles. I have many clients who travel to me here to do their shoot but I'm also always ready to travel as well! If you're interested in having me come to your area send me an email and let me know and we can work on the details and see if a travel fee will apply. I also travel down to San Diego quarterly to do boudoir shoots.
Wardrobe is one of the things that make your session an expression of YOU. I always suggest bringing a cocktail dress to start with. And of course one lingerie item and a solid color bra and panty set. After that it's whatever you like that fits you and the mood you're going for. Fur coat? Vintage swim suit? Cozy sweater? Yoga outfit? Costume? Whatever you decide to bring I always suggest you consider shoes, stockings and jewelry, and feel free to bring plenty of items. We may not use them all but choices are always good!
My retouching style is about bringing simplicity to the image. I want to keep the focus on YOU. To this aim I make sure to remove blemishes, fly away hairs, lines on your skin from clothing, and keep the focus on you. I want these photos to celebrate you and don't do any drastic editing or change to you. It's in the posing that I make sure we make you look best for your body type.
